Terms of Service
These terms apply to the GunuAI website (gunuai.chiranjib.xyz) and the GunuAI self-hosted news box and its software (together, “GunuAI”), operated by Chiranjib, an individual developer in India (“we”, “us”). By using GunuAI you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.
1. What GunuAI does
GunuAI reads public news feeds, writes short scripts using an AI provider you choose, renders vertical news videos and, if you enable it, posts them to accounts you connect. It is a tool: you decide which accounts it posts to, and you are the publisher of what it posts.
2. Your accounts and third-party services
- You connect your own YouTube, Instagram, X and Telegram accounts and your own AI-provider keys. You must follow each service’s rules.
- YouTube: GunuAI uses the YouTube API Services. By using GunuAI’s YouTube features you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
- Instagram/Meta: you must follow the Instagram Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.
- Third-party services may change, limit or stop their APIs (for example posting limits or paid API tiers). We cannot guarantee that every platform will keep working with GunuAI.
3. Your responsibilities
- Review your settings and the videos the box makes. Auto-posting is off until you switch it on.
- AI-written scripts can contain mistakes even though GunuAI checks stories against more than one source. Do not rely on them as professional, financial, medical or legal advice.
- Do not use GunuAI to publish unlawful, defamatory, misleading or infringing content, to spam, or to impersonate others.
- Keep your dashboard PIN and backup password safe.
4. Content and licences
- Videos the box makes for you are yours to publish. News facts come from public sources; GunuAI does not include footage from news outlets.
- Background footage shipped on the box is limited to material we are allowed to distribute (for example NASA imagery, which NASA does not endorse, and visuals we generated ourselves). Music and other assets carry their own licences and credits, listed on the box.
- The GunuAI software stays our property (or our licensors’). You may use it on the box you bought; do not resell, copy or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows.
5. Early access
GunuAI is in early access. Features may change. The hosted cloud version and its pricing shown on this website are previews and not on sale. This website does not take payments.
6. No warranty
GunuAI is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise views, followers, monetisation or uninterrupted operation.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, account suspensions by third-party platforms, or content you choose to publish. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law that cannot be waived.
8. Ending use
You can stop using GunuAI at any time: disconnect your accounts, factory-reset the box, and ask us to delete any waitlist data. We may stop providing updates to a box that is used to break these terms or the law.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
